OK, fair enough. But the size of the non-military federal workforce grew under Reagan and that’s just a fact. By about 95,000 workers. And the national debt tripled but who’s counting that?

Reagan had good aims and knew he would have to change culture which he did to a certain extent. But he also “learned” he had to compromise with Dems to get any credit for anything legislative.
