Long commentary by a lawyer.
The burden of which is that while Democrats are exerting ridiculous lawfare efforts against the Trump Administration, Trump’s response is NOT to use executive power to dismiss these cases but - contrariwise - to exert “malicious compliance.”
That is, it is going strictly by the book, meekly filing requests for stays pending appeals. The overreach of these judges is going to stink to high Heaven - and require a 6-3 SCOTUS response AT MINIMUM, and possibly even Democrat-nominated justices as well.
We sorely need to hold the House and Senate in ’26, and the presidency in ’28, that is certain.
Ping.
Trump is clearly working to a 2-year timetable that, if he can discourage and weaken the Democrat/Communist Party base enough, will extend through his full term and beyond.
If 2026 is a referendum on Trump’s efforts to root out fraud and abuse in Washington, Trump wins.
Yup—part of that strategy is weakening every link of the corrupt Democrat/leftist chain by slashing their primary source of cash—federal funds.
It does not need to be 100% successful—even slashing their funds by 80 to 90% will cripple them.
100%. The 2026 elections started on day one of his Administration. This blitzkrieg all has one focus, the destruction and defeat of the Democratic, Socialist machines, not just in 2026 but for decades to come.
How many Congressional R’s are going to use that for their 2026 campaign? “I supported President Trump’s to slash the administrative state, reduce federal spending and restore the Republic?” So far, most all of the weak-kneed R Congresscritters are laying low and not being vocal in support. It is very disappointing.
Maybe they are standing back and letting the hysterically insane Democrats expose themselves for what they are - architects and purveyors of the biggest con in history.
We also have a duty to protest and make ourselves heard on what the democrat party is doing. I think the days of sitting back putting it all on Trump or another MAGA leader has to be over. We voted for Trump’s agenda and the RATs can’t be allowed to use lawfare to cheat us once again.
We have to fight a pressure and verbal war until the vermin are crushed.
To the contrary, Musk is Trump’s cat’s paw. Musk made Trump’s election possible, Trump is making Musk powerful, and it’s a lovefest.
THE Greatest threat to “Democrazy” is that America has too many unelected fag stooges in black robes trying to do the job Congress is supposed to be doing. It’s way past time for Americans to stopping funding the DNC’s RAT stooges in black robed and start taking apart their scam against Americans. Feral DNC stooges are the greatest threat against America. Especially now that a lot of them are illegal refugees or their offspring who didn’t want to straighten out their own POS Marxist countries.
Congress needs to start an impeachment inquiry into each of these judges. Drag them before congress to explain themselves and subpoena their financial records.
“We sorely need to hold the House and Senate in ’26, and the presidency in ’28, that is certain.”
To do that signifiant work is required to ensure vote integrity. Trump and the GOP focused on the presidential race in 2024 and didn’t pay enough attention to vote integrity in the House, Senate, state and local races. As a result several House and Senate seats that should have gone to Republicans were captured by the Democrats. The Attorney General should investigate a sample of these close vote counts through forensic audits.
In addition, the Secretary of Commerce should get to work planning the execution of the 2030 census to ensure an accurate count. One of the first Trump Administration’s failures, when it took office in 2017, was not paying attention to the Census Department’s plans and procedures for conducting the 2020 Census. as a result some declining blue states were overcounted and rising red states (like Florida) were undercounted. This resulted in blue states having more representation in the House of Representatives than they were entitled to.
Assuming millions of illegals are deported over the next four years from Democrat controlled southwestern states and northern urban centers the 2030 census, if properly and accurately conducted, will have a profound impact on representation in congress for the entire decade of the 1930’s. It is therefore critical for the administration to ensure the bureaucrats of the census bureau are not already gaming the processes and procedures governing the next census.
Musk and Trump both nailed it speaking to the press yesterday. The most basic of business practices are not being done, and the only reason for somebody to oppose them being done is for nefarious purposes. I would love to see the judges who have made these rulings forced to do a similar conversation where they can be asked Trump’s question, “Let’s say we have a check that is set to go out to what we know is a terrorist organization. Do we have to send it to them? Why? How am I supposed to see that the laws are being faithfully executed if I’m not allowed to have people actually see what is being done?”
I am a big critic of Congress—but so far one hundred Republicans did join the DOGE caucus.
The rest better get in line—or get ready to be primaried.
Republican voters are going to have zero tolerance for anything less than fanaticism and hard work in fighting against waste, fraud, abuse and evil.
bkmk
It would be sweet if the appeals court rather than SCOTUS delivered the smackdown. It seems like it would be difficult for any appellate judge to support this obvious con; they might want to keep from making themselves targets of a SCOTUS smackdown.
Not when the public will be behind Trump.
Obama and his people went power crazy and thought they could steal a second election when their internals showed Trump winning against Biden by hundreds of electoral points they thought it was just a Biden problem because Obama is in denial thinking his Sh*t doesn’t stink.
I would emphatically agree - provided it doesn’t distract from attention to Trump’s legislative priorities.
