Canada Becoming the 51st State – When?
Armstrong Economics ^ | 10 Feb 25 | Martin Armstrong

ANSWER: If we are talking about economics, then yes, it would be better for Canada to merge with the USA for its own benefit. The provinces in Canada have trade barriers among each other. That would be illegal under US law, and Canada’s economy would be much better off. In addition, the mortgage market would change overnight. Where Canadians cannot get long-term mortgages, then they could, and they would be cheaper.

However, I would not see Canada as the 51st state, I would see each province as a state retaining their cultural differences. They would also benefit from a unified currency with the US dollar. Canada’s economy would boom for now, and they could sell everywhere without trade restrictions. This would be like creating the euro. There would be no FX risks.

Our computer projects that the only windows of opportunity for such a merger are 2026 and 2028. Historically, this is not some crazy idea of Trump’s. The idea of merging the US with Canada has been around since the American Revolution.

If we look at the Articles of Confederation back in 1777, there was even pre-approval for the admission of the Province of Quebec (previously known as Lower Canada) to the United States as they were anti-British.

It needs to be more than one state.

We really don’t need Quebec.
They do not want to be a part of Canada, much less part of the USA.

The eastern Provinces(NB, NS, PEI, NFD) are all very similar to Maine.

The Yukon is very much tied to Alaska. It is also very rich in minerals. The Northwest territories are the same.

Generally, most of Canada would be a good fit except for Vancouver and the French of Quebec.

Just NOOOOO! Who wants 16 new liberal Senators and perhaps 4 new RINOs? Not me. Plus, the House would swing Dem. No thanks, let Canada be Canada, and stay the Hell out of our elections.

Never, I hope. Canada is filled with leftist, gun-banning voters who supported Trudeau.

Canada becoming another part of the United States is every Canadian’s nightmare.

That would completely destroy the sense of moral rectitude that is the birthright of every Canadian that ever lived.

Boooooo! You’re taking all the fun of it away by actually researching the source!

For years, when a client calls to tell me “I heard somebody recommend...” I always tell him to cite who the someone is. Often enough it’s some internet huckster.

Ah, but you forgot Toronto and the so called ‘GTA’ (Greater Toronto Area).

The majority of the 1.4 MILLION immigrants that arrived in Canada last year, settled there. You don’t want the GTA, a third world cesspool of ‘gibsmedats’ that expect Canaduh to cow-tow to them.

Congressman by population, TWO Senators for all of Canada.

We could give them one of Delaware's. After all, for decades they had a crook that talked more about Scranton, Pennsylvania and why does a little sliver of land that should be part of Maryland get two senators when giant states out west only get two?

Canada has 10 provinces and 3 territories, so “joining” the USA would be 13 new states to the USA - bringing the total number of states up to 63.

Then Jefferson would ask for a new state, so 64.

That would make for a 8x8 flag

“Our computer projects that the only windows of opportunity for such a merger are 2026 and 2028.”

What happened to the US civil war you predicted last year that would start in Jan 2025?

What happened to your 2024 prediction that the US would break up into four new countries in 2026?

His predictions:

He failed to predict his three bankrupsies.

He failed to predict his losing $700 million of his clients’funds.

He failed to predict he would spend eleven years in the federal pen.

In 2014 he predicted gold would soar to $5,000 in 2015. In 2014 he predicted that there would be a world financial collapse.

July 2024, he predicted US cIvil unrest/WAR to happen just before the 2024 elections.

November 2024, he predicted a US civil war would happen the week of Trump’s inauguration with the US breaking up into four new countries in 2026.

December 2024 he said via Socrates that the 2024 elections would be the last in the US.

January 2025 he predicted US civil unrest on May 7.

It will fall into our grasp—one province at a time. British Columbia First—making a land bridge to Alaska. By 2032 the whole of Canada, save for Quebec, will be part of the North American Union. In time, Cuba and even Haiti will become members as well as Jamaica and Baja, California. Mexico will be an associate member as well as Greenland. Everything north of Panama will be one super state with a new flag and capital.
