My daughter’s husband died two years ago, and she’ll be watching the Super Bowl alone. Invited me over and I’m going.

I never watch football because I don’t understand what the heck those big guys are doing. What the heck am I going to comment on while the game progresses? Maybe I’ll just drink wine and shut up.

The single biggest thing about this year’s Super Bowl is that the KC Chiefs will make history if they win it. They will be the first team to win three in a row.

When Philly has the ball, keep an eye on their running back Saquon Barkley. He’s a gamebreaker who can single handedly win the game. The Chief’s defense is expected to build their game plan around stopping him. How successful they are will go a long way in determining the outcome of the game.

KC’s quarterback Patrick Mahomes is already considered one of the greatest ever and he’s still fairly young. The thing to be looking for when KC has the ball is how successful the Eagles are at putting pressure on him. If he has time to throw he excels at finding open receivers. Note that Philly had the best pass defense in the NFL this year. They should be able to make things more difficult for him theoretically.

You are a good father for being there for your daughter on this particular weekend. Eventually, she may become used to the fact of her husband’s passing. She may even be open to visiting your home, being with the family and just watching a movie. That’s how I think I would handle it, because, I’m not a big football fan either.

I tried to be, because everybody else was, but it was like playing Chess, also very popular with some. I found Chess stunningly boring. I don’t put anyone down for being a big sports fan. It brings them fun and they enjoy the distraction.
This Sunday, I’ll spend some of the time cleaning my big, white, porcelain bathtub. It has to be done. There is no other way.

Elon Musk has spent millions to put 5 commercials highlighting his efforts at D.O.G.E.. Regardless of the game those will be worth watching.

No....ask questions....football fans love to "pass" it on...

Just pray they don't go into overtime....because no one knows the answer anymore.

Meh. I’m skipping this one. One team is there because the league rigged games for SB rating and the other has inarguably the worst and most vile fanbase of any team in any sport.
