Baltimore beat Dallas - Jim O’Brien field goal- big argument over whether a forward pass was touched twice by the offense.

I go by coaches. Hank Stram, Dick Vermiell, Vince Lombardi, and a few players—Dandy Don, and a host of others. Won’t be watching this year. But who cares?

My favorite one was Rams over Titans. Great Team!

My second Favorite was Super Bowl XIV, where the Steelers pulled away from the Rams, but it was fun for a while.

I have a warm spot for the Giants ruining the Patriots “perfect” season. Not only were they not the greatest team of all time, they weren’t even the best that year! (heh-heh-heh)

As a Giants fan, Super Bowl XXI (1986 season) was the most memorable. That was arguably one of the very best defensive teams of all time.

Interestingly, the Giants are the only NFL team to win a Super Bowl in the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. It will probably take a miracle for them to win in the 2020s.

The most memorable Super Bowl for me was Super Bowl I. I could have gone to see it—tickets were only abut $15 and it wasn’t sold out. In those days, games that didn’t sell out were blacked out on local TV stations, so Super Bowl I was blacked out in the Los Angeles area—what one Disc jockey on Boss Radio 93 KHJ called the Super Blackout. Publications such as the Beat, the monthly newsletter of rival station KRLA published articles on how to build a Super Bowl antenna out of a coat hanger so as to get the broadcast from San Diego. As it was, I listened to the game on the car radio.

I was rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs because Kansas City is closer to LA than Green Bay and because the star USC Trojan tailback Mike Garrett was playing for the Chiefs. However, Garret and his crew couldn’t overcome the Packers and lost 35-10.

I’m not going to pick any since the Lions haven’t been in any of them.

Best Super Bowl ever, my team lost. Patriots and Seattle, interception at goal line.

I no longer watch, sick of the DEI of sports.

I watched SB 1. Vince Lombardi’s Packers beat the chiefs. I was 17.

I haven't watched many Super Bowls but I remember a time many years ago when I went to a "Super Bowl Party" and the tables there were groaning with all manner of foods, hot and cold. There weren't enough seats in the living room so I sat on the floor in the back corner where nobody could see me unless they turned around. This allowed me to read the paperback in my backpocket without the others yelling at me for not watching the game. I am not 100% sure but I think it was a book of short stories including Leo Tolstoy's "The Death of Ivan Ilyich", which had a sad ending as the main character died in a very lonely way.

Most of the women there didn't appear to care about the outcome of the game and so they busied themselves in the kitchen, gossiping among themselves and keeping the snacks coming to us guys in the living room. But when it came to commercials, they all dashed in to see them as that was evidently the main form of entertainment for them.

The bathroom was a mess. I was ashamed of the behavior of my fellow guys as they were totally missing the toilet and in consideration of the ladies, I would occasionally run some toilet paper around the floor to sop up the splatter and flush it down the toilet.

I ended up not sleeping well that night because I had a big headache, probably because of all the snack foods and beers that I had. Super Bowls appear to be all about overconsumption.

Anyhow, I hope Philadelphia wins the Super Bowl on Sunday Night because I'm tired of Taylor Swift and those Kelce brothers. I know Trump will be there and he might be rooting for Kansas City because some of the players speak well of him. But in any case, I won't be watching, because I'm taking my wife that night to an Indian restaurant in which I will have a big plate of Punjabi lamb curry with a Masala omelette.

I don't care what all you people think about that.

I was at Super Bowl #1, wanting KC to win, but they lost.

The Red Wings have won seven games straight.

In hockey a team may play up to 108 games.

I understand in a season of football a team may play all of 19 games.

That's cute.

Don't remember the number, but the best game was the Patriots comeback over Atlanta.

We were skiing at Winter Park, left the slopes early to watch the game. I was a huge Patriots fan, mostly a Brady fan, having watched him at Michigan, already knowing he was a going to be great, having been shocked he was drafted so late.

Early in the second half, I stopped watching, thought it was over. My brother kept watching, he yelled that the Patriots just scored at the end of the third quarter, so I came back in. Most amazing comeback I've personally watched. As soon as the Pats won the OT coin flip, I knew it was over. One of the top 3 games ever.
