We have chickens that lay brown eggs and they have very thick shells.

Boiling them, even for 45 minutes with salt and cream of tartar in the water, doesn’t make them peel easy.............

Boil old eggs not newly laid eggs.

New eggs, poaching.

Couple of days old, frying.

Four to seven days old, scrambled.

Over a week old boiled.
