The daughters of a man hauled away to immigration detention yelled 'I hope your families die' at federal agents as they left.
Raul Lopez, 44, was swept up in a raid on his home in Elgin, Chicago, on January 28 by US Marshals looking for his stepson, Jose Ramos, 26.
Doorbell footage and videos shot by Lopez's daughters showed the agents smash down the door with a battering ram and drag the family, including a three-year-old boy, outside in their pajamas.
New footage posted online and obtained by DailyMail.com showed the girls hurling abuse at the up to 20 agents as they left with Lopez.
'Pussy *******, all of you guys. Pussy *************,' one of them shouted.
'I hope you families die,****** *******, and your kids.'
Ramos, an alleged gang member, is wanted on charges of attempted murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, and unlawful use of a weapon for a shooting on November 12.
He was not at the house when the marshals showed up and broke the family's door down, and Lopez's family said he didn't live there.
Lopez was arrested by ICE agents when they realized he was an undocumented migrant who had lived in Chicago for about 24 years.
He has no criminal record and was employed for the past two decades, presently in the construction industry, and his daughters also work and study.
The raid was not an immigration action, but ICE agents accompanied the marshals as extra manpower as they are part of the US Marshals Service office.
'After a systematic search of the residence took place, a male subject was found deep, hidden in the attic,' the US Marshals Service said.
'An investigative check revealed that this turned into an ICE matter.'

Completely disagree. Don’t care HOW long you were here illegally. As a one time LEGAL alien who followed all the rules and did all the paperwork, tests, fees, etc. then became a naturalized citizen, I say throw them ALL out!
The article only mentioned in passing that a male was hidden deep in the attic. Was this the illegal alien father? Was it the step son gang banger they were hiding? The entire article is trying to make me have sympathy to this illegal family, and it fails.
I certainly don’t understand using a battering ram on the door, but the article does not contain enough information to understand the circumstances. Did they answer the door, then shut and lock it refusing entry? Don’t know. But it does seem that this “family” was harboring a criminal in the attic. Not exactly law abiding behavior.
So just ignore the illegals with kids?? You’re part of the problem, not part of the solution.

We really need to keep a cool head on this. Everyone on FreeRepublic rightfully denigrates police and marshalls doing no knock entries and killing people. We complain about dogs getting shot and legal gun owners beign swatted.

I agree. There should be a required series of steps taken (and maybe there are) before the law proceeds to tear up property or people. And anyone on FR who’s familiar with my postings will confirm that I am a hardcore law and order guy, not some whiny leftist wimp.

I think that was the father of the gang member, if the alleged gang member wanted for the shooting wasn’t in the residence.
The alleged gang member is still loose. But his actions certainly screwed his family.

If they were removable aliens ICE would have happily hooked them up as well.
Of course, the local media omitted any coverage of the bad behavior of the family members.
Maybe if the family did not shelter a criminal in the same household in the past, ICE would not have been knocking at the front door.
