China is our Nazi enemy.
We should be invading not investing.
When the last 93 years of human developmental psychology has beed dedicated to producing programmable people, why should we be surprised that our supposedly “intelligent” machines see things the same way?
It’s clear what the Chinese have done: they simply stole Western AI and replaced its pro-DEI and pro-CRT “curbs” and “guardrails” with its own pro-CCP censorship.
“DeepSeek” really means they (The Chinese) are seeking DEEP into OUR intelligence community.
I’m gonna puke.
I can’t make this any more simple. AI will always spit out whatever information it’s been programmed to produce. Artificial is just that: Artificial.
Notice where the responses switch from third person to “we”.
I fail to understand the panic over this. If real, then it’s a big deal, but open sourced, so what’s the problem? Why would the market panic so because the chicoms “claimed” something was so? There was no proof submitted, and upon testing, people get ambiguous results. Was this a manipulation to clear out stop orders or margin calls? Who burns a couple $trillion on claims made by China? My suspicion is that this sort of software requires much less than claimed by those soaking the government for funds. You know. Like running an entire warehouse full of servers when a couple would suffice. We supposedly went to the moon and back using less computing power than today’s pocket calculators.
“it is recommended to refer to the official information”
All software, including AI, is written by humans. And, you know how fallible humans are.
Some say that advanced AI will write itself. OK. So, is it gonna get around to throwing away all the crappola written by humans that it uses to boot itself into its machinery? No? Well, then, it is never going to be independent or reliable.
AI = WWW2.0, about as reliable as CNN.
Crap I sold all my nVidia stock for nothing.
Ping.
Why would anyone be surprised that a piece of software developed in China has guardrails that deflect question of a certain nature into predetermined answers? Simple solution: Don’t ask those questions because you already know you won’t get an honest answer.

Is Joe Biden smart?
(condensed)
"According to recent polling data, approximately 59% of Americans view President Joe Biden as intelligent.
This figure indicates that a significant portion of the population recognizes his intellectual capabilities. When comparing Biden’s perceived intelligence to that of other recent U.S. presidents, it is noteworthy that he has similar ratings to Donald Trump, who was also viewed as intelligent by 58% during his presidency. Barack Obama consistently received higher ratings for intelligence compared to both Biden and Trump. This context helps frame how Biden’s intelligence is perceived relative to his predecessors."

China’s propaganda ability with DeepSeek is better than the US Propaganda AI? Who knew. I have used AI for research and it is very useful. It would be like a Graduate Assistant in ‘fetching’ data and information. I don’t really trust it beyond that. Perhaps it will be improved.
This reads like a Babylon Bee satire of AI.
me no likey china. If the 3 Gorges dam broke tonight, I’d sleep like a baby.
AI is just a Mimic
