That is the ESV translation, so they might have messed it up.
I don’t speak Aramaic or Greek, so I have to use a translated Bible.

One would think that would be a fairly simple translation exercise. “Our” is plural and “His” is singular. Do Greek and Aramaic not have an easy distinction between the two?

I tend to think that ‘light’ in this context meant something different from material light.
(And it was written for those of us in the flesh, on Earth. I think that means that we’re supposed to figure it out in the flesh, too...)
