There was a willingness in the human heart of God-loving Americans, but as winner takes all, and from the looks of it, the Marshall plan’s beautifully altruistic largesse rolled out a 50-year globalist plan and gave us the EU. Who says there is no such thing as teleology?

I hope I got the test question right. Extra credit: BTW France did become the cradle of Christian civilization in the West. So a reclamation of heritage is not a bad thing.

After the "Steele Dossier" and the "Five Eyes" revelations, I sometimes wonder if everything we have done since the Boer War was because our elites have made sure we have done the UK's bidding; the UK needed a non-threatening France on the other side of the Channel, and thus "we rescue France."

But that's just me on a bad day. This particular miscarriage of (real) justice in France sounds like the kind of thing that the urban, socialist, bureaucratic intelligentsia everywhere do, and I don't for a minute doubt that it could also happen in DC, New York City or Portland, OR.

The Europeans should count themselves lucky that the Russian Army has shown itself unable to defeat the Ukrainians. If Putin had an effective and powerful military, there would be nothing, except possibly the Polish Army, that would prevent the Russians from marching westward to the English Channel. The French, German, and British armed forces make our DEI infested military look like Patton’s Seventh Army.

The USA joined WWI to a large extent due to money - American commerce would maximize profits, and willingly, by insuring that the Entente fought the war to victory. But the bankers had a far greater vested interest. They were lending money, which would be repaid only if Britain won. Therefore, as the amount of money actually borrowed by Britain increased, the American bankers became more committed to insuring, specifically, an Entent victory, a crushing Entente victory.

The USA wanted France to pay back its loans so that was a primary reason America joined the war in March 2018 (when troops came to Europe).

The USA joined WWII because the Nutzis and Japanese were a real threat to the USA. And that involved saving France incidentally.

We didn’t join either war “to save France”
