Here's the guy that members of Congress spent the last several days smearing. It's remarkable that we didn't get to see this beautiful family photo.

This is what guys like Pete, stuck in a foxhole, halfway around the world, are fighting for.

I saw all those kids at Pete’s swearing in and it warmed my heart. They were swarming around their mom and dad and smothering them in hugs and Pete was leaning over hugging and kissing them. A beautiful sight to behold.
