She’ll claim congressional immunity - same as Murtha (spit) when he slandered Marines and accused them of war crimes. Article I, Section 6, Clause I of the Constitution. All she has to do is claim she was acting as a member of Congress.

That precedent was overridden.
That immunity was given to John Murtha when he spoke outside of chambers condemning the Haditha Marines while the investigation was still ongoing.

Murtha was then sued separately by two Marines and a federal appeals court ruled that Murtha could not be sued because he was acting in his official role as a lawmaker when he made the statements.
