Just wondering.....and wondering if the Military would have the appetite to do so, if able......if true treason was committed, the public needs to know
“He can be bucked down to private no matter what Biden does.”
I’m not sure that’s totally correct for a retired officer. However, you are onto a good point. An officer can only retire at the highest grade honorably held. This is an administrative determination. So it doesn’t even have to be based on evidence “beyond a reasonable doubt.” He could easily suffer the disgrace of losing at least one star and the retirement pay that goes with it.
Retroactive demotion after retirement has been done, too.
> Retroactive impeachment. <
Interesting. As you noted, Trump’s second impeachment trial continued even after he left office.
A retroactive impeachment of Biden would go nowhere, fast. But it’s still worth considering. At a minimum, the new GOP Congress should censure Biden, Milley, etc. Get it on the record.
Democrats play hardball. Republicans should do the same (but probably won’t).
That language required the CDC to change the definition of “vaccine”.
So members of Congress can’t be impeached?
If not impeach Biden, then impeach the people who REALLY drafted the pardons.
“In his most extensive comments to date on the matter, Milley said the calls on Oct. 30 last year and Jan. 8 were fully coordinated with the defense secretaries at the time as well as other US national security agencies.”

There’s also a YouTube video out there which I didn’t watch:

“The Founders missed something here. If I ever invent a Time Machine I’ll be mentioning that to Ben Franklin and the boys.”
The Founders created and gave to us a magnificent Constitution.
They did not anticipate societal moral drift and how many bad actors would be able to insinuate themselves into power over the next 250 years.
Still, you have to lay blame for current problems at the feet of American voters.
Pelosi was slandering Trump to Milley, trying to get him to say he would stop Trump from acting as Commander-in-Chief, on the grounds that Trump was not mentally stable. Ironic, coming from a crazy broad who covered up for Dementia Joe for 4 years.
Trump is an understudy of Sun Tzu and has said that other nations should always view you as a question mark - believe that no options are off the table. Both Pelosi and Milley undermined Trump’s means of influence and bargaining power.
Communicating with the CCP counterpart and telling him that he would call him if Trump planned a military action.
He actually told him.
That means be betrayed his country and directly would tell the enemy where and when US servicemen would be so they can be murdered. (I use murdered instead of killed because of Milley, not because of or to, enemy forces. That is war and then “killed” would be the right term.)
I am not in the know of the specifics. He cannot be tried criminally but reduction in rank and forfeiture of retirement does not sound criminal.
For 45 more minutes
There are still some good ones left. While Cheney would have been my favorite, Cristopher Wray, Andy McCabe and James Comey all need to be prosecuted.
Impeachment is reserved for federal officers (including civil officers), such as the President, and does not apply to Congressmen. In contrast, Congressmen can be removed through expulsion under Article I, Section 5 of the U.S. Constitution, which requires a two-thirds vote by their respective chamber.
The processes also differ significantly. Impeachment, described in Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution, involves the House of Representatives bringing charges and the Senate conducting a trial, typically addressing misconduct by federal officers. Expulsion, on the other hand, is an internal disciplinary action used to address "disorderly behavior" by Congressmen.
Expulsion alone does not result in the loss of benefits like pensions. A Congressman forfeits these benefits only if convicted of certain federal crimes, such as bribery or corruption, as stipulated by laws like the Honest Leadership and Open Government Act of 2007.
In summary, Congressmen cannot be impeached, but they can be expelled under Article I, Section 5. The loss of benefits depends on a conviction for specific criminal offenses.

Quotes:
In 1990, scientists discovered that they could inject mice with mRNA and DNA to make the mouse cells create a protein. That protein production lasted for a few weeks. In 1992, mRNA coding for vasopressin (anti-diuretic hormone) was injected into rats, resolving their diabetes insipidus symptoms. From these findings, it was theorized that a viral or bacterial protein could be created by a living animal’s cells, and that the immune system of the animal would then react against it. The only thing standing in the way was the inherent instability of mRNA. It just doesn’t like to be outside of cells.
From the 1990s to the 2010s, the race was on to develop a way to deliver mRNA without it becoming unstable....By the time the Coronavirus Pandemic came, several companies were working on mRNA vaccines with relatively stable delivery systems.
By the time Moderna and Pfizer submitted their data to the Food and Drug Administration for Emergency Use Authorization, about 30,000 people in the Moderna trial (including my wife) and over 43,000 in the Pfizer trial had received the vaccine.

By the time I, age 62 at the time, was allowed to be able to get Covid vaccinated, probably over 10 million people had already got the Moderna vaccine I got.
“experimental”
I suspect members of Congress and Biden got jabbed before you ever could.
I like the way you think. A trial for treason sounds just right. Let it begin.
All those people have been in and around the Deep State for decades. They will be protected and rewarded by the Deep State for supporting its interests over those of America. Besides, they know far too much to ever be allowed to be prosecuted.
It seems like he was pretty much bragging about consorting with the enemy regarding nuclear weapons and more. I think we need to go through the process to find out, even if it does take a long, long time.
Precedent has been set with Nixon.
A pardon will prevent or negate a dishonorable discharge. And note that a General Court Martial can impose a sentence of dismissal for an officer, not a dishonorable discharge. It amounts to the same thing. As to losing pay and allowances, a full pardon would negate that as well. The officer would then receive a grade determination as to the highest grade/rank at which he/she honorably served and would receive retired pay for that grade. I know of two USAF JAGs who retired several grades below the highest rank at which they served: MG Fiscus, who retired as a Colonel, and Colonel Mike Murphy, who retired as a First Lieutenant.
Colonel, USAF JAGC (Ret)
So is there no justice to be served to Milley after he committed treason - other than perhaps being held captive during a court-martial?
If the military had proof that the 2000 election was stolen, could they have recognized that the US was occupied territory as of Jan 20, 2021?
