The Beaches | Turn Me Loose (Loverboy cover) | Junos 365 Sessions
(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...
The group Loverboy recorded one of my favorite songs of 1981: ‘Working For the Weekend!’
A good song to drive by, windows down.
Nice. I have Turn Me Loose on the USB I play in the car. When it comes on I always crank it.
Turn Me Loose is a good song.
So is Working...
And a couple others I really liked :)
Bro,
They sound TERRIBLE.
Out of tune, not in synch..just WOW.
Sorry man, I’ve played drums and guitar for over 40 years.
This ain’t good.
Loverboy showed up my hometown back in the day... I didn’t go, but a friend did and while he wasn’t too impressed with Loverboy, he was really impressed by the opening act... It was this dude named Brian Adams.
About this Lover Boy, "Lover Boy" was the moniker of Tony Randall's character in the film, "Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?" released in 1957. Jayne Mansfield was fantastic in that film.
Keyboard players have always cracked me up. They stay on one note for a 4 count and hop around like they’re busy while just holding down those keys. It can be a dull instrument to play
The video that accompanied Turn Me Loose was pretty good too, if you’re into that sort of thing. Lots of old time movie clips.
BTW...Homer Simpson was wrong.
Saw Loverboy with Sammy Hagar this past summer. Loverboy playes their hits and were great! Sammy’s group was fantastic. Good times!
That's a great movie. Jayne Mansfield's previous film was "The Girl Can't Help It," which I have seen in the theater at least 10 times. It also features Joan Blondell, who stars in another of my favorite musicals, "Gold Diggers of 1933."
As t "Turn Me Loose," Fabian's opus is far better than Loverboy's.
I also love Take Me To The Top.
