Los Angeles County's new district attorney announced looting charges after homes were left abandoned because of wildfires. Among the accused, three individuals were charged for burglary, looting and grand theft, allegedly stealing more than $200,000 from a home in Mandeville Canyon. See the press conference from Monday, Jan. 13, 2025.
Im gonna guess either their names are Hakeem, Javaris, or Jose am I close
Proud boys again?
You loot. We shoot.
Looters should be shot.
Too bad, the allowable take before being charged is $201,000. So they cut it close. Now they have to let them go.
Does $200,000 get them out of misdemeanor range???
Prison for life.
Bring back public hangings
Looters should be shot.
Isn’t it illegal to hoard money over a certain amount?
MOST likely jewelry
I heard the press conference with the DA and it was a mixture of everything!!!! Couldn’t separate one from the other.
“”Prison for life.””
That will be true for a couple if convicted - they are on their 3rd strike in CA!!!!
On Laura Ingraham‘s show tonight, she said that her LA friends are telling her there are not just dozens of looters but that they have seen hundreds of looters. I will not be surprised if the California spokespeople are lowballing the numbers so that the number that they arrest will seem like a sizable proportion of the looters. California actually has laws preventing holding people in jail for stealing.
“Try that in Middle America”.
I missed something, obviously.
On some show I was watching tonight, they showed a big hand written sign in front of one house that said that something like “we are home and we have guns”. It might have been in an area that had been evacuated and then allowed back in .
27-year-old Travon Coleman, Matrell Peoples, 22, and Damari Bell, 21. It’s strike 3 for Coleman and Peoples.
Also, “six others — Rudy Salazar, 19, Lucia Jilrara Perez, 36, Roy Sims, 18, Ryan Sims, 19, Naquan Dewey Reddix, 22, and Pierie Obannon, 19 — were charged with residential burglary in thefts from several Altadena homes.”
What fire area was it near, Palisades or Eaton?
Exactly.
Shoot them on sight and leave the bodies as a warning.
