I like him! Took guts, or maybe just honesty! Let’s hope that his words might just hit home for a few to get them to at least ponder their life and meaning of life, and look to God for answers eventually!
Never wise to mock God the way she did. But yeah it was surprising that no one did thank God. I remember back when I used to watch television people thank God all the time for winning a game or being awarded a trophy.
The funniest thing to me was the dead silence in the room after she said “in this Godless town”.
The Ben Hur from some years back (not many) was pretty good but remaking something Charlton Heston was in...that’s an uphill battle.

Godless states elect Godless leaders who worship Mother Earth and want to serve and protect little fishies instead of the folk that voted for them.
However, there's a growing Christian film industry that has put out films like "I Heard the Bells" (2022). I just saw "Reagan," whose script was written by the Christian historian Paul Kengor. I highly recommend both of these movies, which contain zero nudity, sex scenes or profanity.
