There was serious talk and plans were made for the Sate of Ky to take over management of Jefferson County schools about 5 years ago. The reason was the abysmally low test scores, bottom 5% of the state. They are the biggest metro area , democratic and the only reason why Ky is less than the reddest state.

Beyond that no comment….

When you go to a black high school and the principal plays the Uno Reverse card.

This principal could be Obama’s son.

Kid is probably traumatized. Good preparation to be a ‘good citizen’ of the totalitarian state.

Or is that ‘toiletarian’ state?

Jefferson county schools are a mess by any metric available. The bus system is a nightmare. They’ve got kids getting bused all over the place and spending hours going to and from school. It has been suggested, I don’t know if it’s ever going to happen, that the district be split up into about 5 normal size districts. This wouldn’t make them any less leftist nor the administrators any more competent, but it would make districts of a size more manageable.

A few years ago it was published that upwards of 300 plus administrative positions had base salaries of well over $100,000 each, but some being a lot more. The school district is pissing away money at a prodigious rate. And the board looks like a meme of dei.

If a school official threatened my kid with a gun (fake or not), a lawsuit would be the least of his worries.

Gosh, first thing I thought was why did it take five years to bring a lawsuit? Maybe it took the kid that long to memorize the details for a deposition?

First day of junior high, my son got placed on the wrong bus. Called the school and talked to one of the assistant principals who basically said I was overreacting. Spoke to the principal the next day & told him next time I call the police & instead of working with his idiot asst principal.

Fast forward a year or two later and the asst principal was encouraged to find employment elsewhere. While at his new gig, he de-pantsed a young, female athlete getting on a bus to go to a sporting event. It made the news but not sure if he’s still teaching or not.

claiming he threatened to kill her then 7-year-old and another second grader in 2019 while pointing a gun at them.

It would take extraordinary evidence to make me believe that.

Wright had a 10-year history of violence that went unaddressed by JCPS, including punching, grabbing and dragging students and threatening both children and teachers w...

I am willing to listen to Wright's side of the issue. I had a good friend who became a teacher. He was black, very tough looking, and would not put up with sh*t from his students. The other teachers lauded him for his ability to make the students behave, and he did well in the Job for many years.

Then he gets some little @$$hole that pushes him, and he gets fired because the Administration always backs the parents in any conflict with teachers. He moved to North Carolina and resumed teaching, until again he had this problem. He used to tell me about how some of the ballsey little sh*ts had started challenging his authority as a teacher and as a man, and he wasn't going to put up with it.

I have a nephew that also taught school for several years. He was former Navy, then left when his enlistment was up. Joined the Marine Corps, and became an explosive ordinance demolition expert. Served in Iraq defusing bombs for our troops, retired and became a school teacher.

Same thing. The little mouthy bastards have got to where they will start sh*t with the teachers, and their parents will defend them.

My nephew wasn't fired, but because he could see the direction it was all going, he decided he no longer wanted to be part of it.

So if this Wright character actually smacked around a few @$$hole students, I wouldn't hold it against him.

Like I said, I would like to hear his side of the story.

Yes you should never point a weapon at anyone you don't intend to shoot.

It's outrageous!

He should have just pistol-whipped the little bastards.
