LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville mother is suing Jefferson County Public Schools and her son's former principal, Duan Wright, claiming he threatened to kill her then 7-year-old and another second grader in 2019 while pointing a gun at them.

Wright, who has a history of abuse complaints against him, was principal of Harstern Elementary School at the time. Some investigative documents say the gun was a toy, while Wright has denied the incident.

I am willing to listen to Wright's side of the issue. I had a good friend who became a teacher. He was black, very tough looking, and would not put up with sh*t from his students. The other teachers lauded him for his ability to make the students behave, and he did well in the Job for many years.

Then he gets some little @$$hole that pushes him, and he gets fired because the Administration always backs the parents in any conflict with teachers. He moved to North Carolina and resumed teaching, until again he had this problem. He used to tell me about how some of the ballsey little sh*ts had started challenging his authority as a teacher and as a man, and he wasn't going to put up with it.

I have a nephew that also taught school for several years. He was former Navy, then left when his enlistment was up. Joined the Marine Corps, and became an explosive ordinance demolition expert. Served in Iraq defusing bombs for our troops, retired and became a school teacher.

Same thing. The little mouthy bastards have got to where they will start sh*t with the teachers, and their parents will defend them.

My nephew wasn't fired, but because he could see the direction it was all going, he decided he no longer wanted to be part of it.

So if this Wright character actually smacked around a few @$$hole students, I wouldn't hold it against him.

Like I said, I would like to hear his side of the story.

Yes you should never point a weapon at anyone you don't intend to shoot.

It's outrageous!

He should have just pistol-whipped the little bastards.

My dad taught his career in JCPS at Butler high school. For a city school it wasn’t too bad. Until busing.

Then they started taking the inner city ghetto type kids out and busing them to the school and place went to hell in a hand basket. Scores plummeted. And the discipline stories I could tell you. They started getting 19 year old men with attempted murder felonies, sexual assault etc walking around in the halls with fresh 14 year old girls from the suburbs. You can imagine what that caused.

Conversely my 1st cousin was bussed to an inner city school. a teacher asked him if a thug had been talking in class and he foolishly admitted to the teacher he had been. They (several) jumped him in the hall and beat him, kicked him in the eye socket so his eyeball was bulging out. He went to the hospital but recovered.

The worst of all is the FORCED busing, making kindergarten kids get up TWO hours early so they can be made to go mix with black children when their parents choose to buy a house in a subdivision of their love. Literally taking rights away from parents to fulfill social Justice goals. The city hasn’t had a Republican mayor for a lifetime. I have an old friend that lives in Texas now, a real tough guy. He was bussed to an inner city school and recalls taking a huge book bag with all his things and literally running from class to class and not using the rest room because the black kids in gangs would hunt white kids to steal, beat up and intimidate in the locker areas and bathrooms.

I was born in that city and hate it now.

These are all older stores —20plus years , I dont know if things are any better.
