Lookner is covering the fire on Agenda Free TV.
Steve just mentioned 10 acres on fire in Pasadena, separate from the Palisades fire.

I spent 20 years on a boat in the Ventura Harbor. Have never heard 1 person refer to Santa Ana’s as East Winds.

I knew a woman in Santa Paula who told me that when she was growing up there, everyone referred to the strong, dry winds that blew down the Santa Clara Valley as east winds, and they were unaware of the term "Santa Ana wind." However, she was born in 1916, so she may have been using the terminology of an earlier generation.

Amen to that. I hate how “Family Guy” treated him after Woods got vocal in public. Woods did several episodes over the years but was pushed out to his politics. He was always good in them. I thought that the show would do some action well thought out but they dragged up the worn out leftist trope of “ you nave the right to your opinion just as long as it’s the exact same as ours.” Lost any respect I had for Seth MacFarlane after that.

To: No name given

Santa Ana Winds are Fall.

These aren’t Santa Ana.

More like hurricane strength winds. No rain with it.

Santa Paula is not LA.

I can believe they had a different term.

wildfires that don’t use defensible space.
= = =

The 80 mph winds can blow embers into your defensible space.

And radiant heat can go through your windows and ignite inside your house.l

Lived in Brentwood for almost 20 years and they are starting to evacuate there now as well. The Palisades is my favorite city in LA - many prayers going out.

If the wildfires get bad enough with high winds there is no defensible space.

In most of the LA area the houses are squashed together like sardines.

There was news of a whole trailer park going up in flames—obviously once one trailer goes up the entire park is at risk.

Brush fire burns... understatement of the year.

Winds shifted from NE to SW, to, NW to SE.

Latest reporter update, fire threatening Pacific Palisades neighbor to the east - southeast.

2 years of drenching winter rains are responsible for local area’s explosion of brush undergrowth. Once dry season hits, dangerous fuel levels are everywhere on the surrounding hills.

Winds shifting every few hours, taking out the next neighborhood, and the next, and the next.

There are a lot of California freepers, please stay safe.

Yes, stay safe.

These fires unlike storm paths are totally unpredictable.

Joining you in prayer, know the areas where the fires are raging very well.
