James Woods is in the danger zone bigtime it looks. Yikes.
Updates are much appreciated.
Usually.
Love James Woods! Prayers for him and his family!
Well, I don't know, my California friend says the winds can happen at anytime
It seems like lately every time we have winds, a fire somewhere goes out of control. Home insurance is harder to get now and expensive.
Indeed if the fires don’t get you the earthquakes and illegals will.
I gotta win the lottery to get out of here.
Clean up the friggin brush and they’ll be nothing to burn, a**wipes!
SOOOOOOOOO—CANADA WOULD TAKE OVER THE $600 BILLION CALIF DEFICIT????
MUSK would close down his FREMONT assembly operation & move it to N Nevada & close his SF offices.
LIVED There for 29 years...SANTA ANA winds can be anytime of year.
Late summer and fall is when they most often occur, and we occasionally have them in the winter and spring. They rarely occur in late spring and most of the summer. They are generated by ridges of high atmospheric pressure over Eastern California, Nevada and Utah.
In Ventura County, west of LA, they are called east winds.

You wanna know what drives insurance companies nuts?
That does.

CRITICAL UPDATE: Pacific Palisades fire exploding to 770+ acres in 4hrs. PCH closed, Sunset Blvd gridlocked with 100+ abandoned cars. Multiple zones under mandatory evacuation from Palisades to Las Flores. Extremely dangerous fire conditions with 6% humidity. If evacuating, leave NOW - some roads already blocked by flames.
I spent 20 years on a boat in the Ventura Harbor. Have never heard 1 person refer to Santa Ana’s as East Winds.
