How would North Koreans even get hot dogs and SPAM? The black market must be amazing.

Not sure I would ever order a hot dog in Korea. You could be getting the real thing.

Kim Jong-un has issued a national ban on hot dogs and sausages.I know they are trying to make Dear Leader look bad, but banning hot dogs and sausages in North Korea makes a lot of sense to me.

"North Korea says cooking hot dogs or sausage is now an act of treason"
Sounds a little like an EU Commission directive....

Hot dogs and spam; two of the most unhealthy American meat choices. Yes, I have eaten both and rarely still will eat a hot dog (Costco cheap lunch, a hot dog and a drink, $1.50).
As an American, if I was in Korea, I’d take advantaghe of having Korean dishes I get less of at home, and skip the “fusion” dishes with hot dogs or spam.

It’s not going to be pretty when this regime collapses for good. So many North Koreans will be in dire need.
