The chaos underground spread to the commuter rails Saturday, as a Metro-North rider was stabbed in the chest over an argument about noisy music while a train arrived in Grand Central.
The attack happened at about 7 p.m. on a New Haven line Metro-North train arriving at the station, according to the MTAPD.
Abdul Malik Little, 46, was playing music over his phone’s speaker and took exception when a 31-year-old fellow rider complained about the racket.
Little stabbed the unidentified 31-year-old man in the chest twice with a knife as the train pulled into Grand Central, the MTAPD said.
The victim was strong enough to exit the train at the station and identify his attacker to police who were patrolling the platform.

I’m guessing it wasn’t the Eagles.
So true—the level of safety (or danger) on public transportation is an excellent metric on how civilized the people and the society are.
The blunt reality is that our “melting pot” has turned out to be a complete debacle.
The back side of these apartments uses the back parking lot for a paid parking lot (mostly tourists), but those types love to pull through here day and night, shaking my whole apartment.
My apartment is 1st floor next to the parking lot :/
In part, you’re telling me you agree with me, and I you.
That is to say, I use racial profiling myself. It’s only common sense. The black people I’ve lived and worked with have told me they avoid other black people in some contexts. By the way, I did not ever have a need to avoid my black colleagues.
What I’m talking about though is the effect of internet posts. Keep in mind, nobody anywhere needs a poster on the internet to tell them how to racially profile to protect themselves. This is why I accuse Scott Adams of low IQ when he posts on the internet, “Stay away from black people.” It’s not a statement made to actually give useful information because people already know who to stay away from and in what contexts.
Of note for anyone unable to think independently: there are plenty of white people who will cause you far worse problems if you interact with them, compared with black people you might interact with.
Making posts like that on the internet, including posts made on this site, has the effect of planting subliminal seeds of racism which achieve only one thing: further divide our country.
“For the historical audit brings so much to light which is false and absurd, violent and inhuman, that the condition of pious illusion falls to pieces.”
-Friedrich Nietzsche
“Man prefers to believe what he prefers to be true.”

“The problem with your claim is that it is non-falsifiable.
In other words there is no set of facts that could possibly contradict it. Therefore I have no choice—I must reject it.”
Your statement quoted here is itself “non-falsifiable.” Therefore you have no choice—you must reject it.
Your nonsense may be amusing in a college classroom—totally useless on the street.
This thread was not about Scott Adams until you just now bring him up. Your earlier comments were directed at posters, such a myself.
Scott Adams cited a poll.
By telephone and online, the group surveyed a thousand American adults, with this question: “Do you agree or disagree with this statement, ‘It’s OK to be white’?”
The report found that 72% of the respondents agreed, including 53% who are Black. Some 26% of Black respondents disagreed, and 21% said they are “not sure.” The poll also found that 79% of all the respondents agreed with the statement “Black people can be racist too.”
How is citing the results of a poll divisive?
How is my post divisive? And why should I give a crap what you think about it anyway, you profiler? I am not squelching my free speech because you have concerns about the ‘effect of internet posts’.
The only plausible motive for Scott Adams making that comment was that he was hoping to continue the divide between blacks and whites.
The race card has been the most powerful weapon against America used by our enemies since the day of Lincoln.
Our enemies have been terrified of the Black Lives Maga movement, so they hire Adams and fools on the internet to sow discord, a tactic of war used throughout history. Seeing it is true pattern recognition.
Meanwhile you’re standing on some street in the hood, I guess? Shouting at the brothers to the side, trembling and trying not to look them in the eyes, “But your claim is non-falsifiable! Your claim is non-falsifiable!”
You really like that “non-falsifiable” thing, don’t you. I think this might have legs.
