PROOF THAT EVERYTHING - IS A SIMULATION (Including God)
Is this reality? Well, we're experiencing ... something right now so maybe the better question is: what is reality?
Could everything we see, everything we experience, everything that exists in our entire universe -- be artificial?
Supporters of Simulation Theory believe that not only is it possible that we're living in a simulation; it's likely.
And the more we look for evidence, the more we find.
Philip K Dick believed deja vu was the simulation adjusting to new code. Many people experience The Mandela Effect, a or "false memory" shared by a large number of people.
But the biggest clues of Simulation Theory come from science. Specifically: quantum mechanics. The only way the Double-Slit Experiment makes sense is if we live in a program. Quantum Entanglement also defies logic. Only our program would have the ability to defy the laws of physics - and the concept of time.
Let's find out why.
The “simulation” is that we are spiritual beings experiencing a human event....
There is no proof that event actually happened. Many believe the story is urban legend.
Here are my thoughts:
What we see and touch in the world around us isn’t truly solid. Atoms, which make up everything, are 99.9999999% empty space, and when we "touch" something, we’re not interacting with physical matter but with electromagnetic forces created by the outer electrons of atoms. This is akin to how objects in a video game appear solid but are actually digital representations governed by the game’s rules. The solidity we experience is an illusion created by physical laws and forces, much like the immersive worlds rendered in a simulation.
At its most fundamental level, the universe seems to be made of information rather than tangible "stuff." Quantum mechanics reveals that particles like electrons exist in probabilistic states until observed, taking on definite properties only when measured. The universe operates according to precise rules and laws, much like a simulation is governed by its programming. Just as a video game world is built from binary code and rendered into an immersive environment, reality might be a manifestation of fundamental informational structures.
Our perception of reality is not reality itself but a filtered interpretation by our brains. Our senses are limited and only detect a small portion of the universe, much like how a virtual reality headset renders a simplified version of the digital world. In a similar way, our brains render the world around us in a form we can comprehend, giving us an experience of reality that is shaped by our biological limitations.
Perhaps the most intriguing parallel between reality and a simulation is how the universe behaves differently when observed. In the famous double-slit experiment, particles act as waves until they are measured, at which point they behave like particles. This suggests that reality, in some way, depends on interaction or observation—just as a video game only renders the areas the player is looking at to save computational resources.
The deeper we examine reality, the more it resembles a computational system. The Planck scale, which defines the smallest measurable units of space and time, resembles the pixelation of a screen—limits on the "resolution" of reality. Everything in the universe is underpinned by mathematical structures, just as math underlies computer code. From the illusory nature of solidity to the observer-driven manifestation of reality, the universe behaves in ways that are strikingly similar to a simulation. While this doesn’t prove that we are living in a programmed reality, it challenges us to rethink the nature of existence and opens the door to profound questions about what reality truly is.
Simulation theory need not negate personal responsibility.
For starters you get to decide whether you want to be a non player character or an active participant.
!FALSE
It is funny
because it
is TRUE.
Good summary, Rooster.
If you add in a touch of fractals at all scales and a pinch of panpsychism the model is more complete.
:-)
A real universe? Maybe that one is a simulation too? etc
This simulation business is a perfect example of "they are just f*cking with us".
I believe mathematics is discovered, not invented.
Mathematics is the abstract, symbolic representation of reality and its underlying principles. Like the reality it represents, mathematics exists independently of us. It preexists our discovery.
That is pretty cute, geek to geek speaking.
Hecklefish is real. As are the Lizzid Peeple.
It’s Sunday, so I’m going to be a non-playable character all day.
I believe that what we perceive as reality is distinct from God, who is the creator of our reality and exists beyond it—even if our reality is a simulation.
God, as we understand Him, is not confined to the boundaries of our reality or any simulation but is the ultimate source of its creation, whether that creation is real or an immensely complex simulation.
Any interesting topic is the Monroe Tapes, aka The Gateway experience, aka Hemi-Sync.the PDF (not sure is this version is the one missing a page or two) can be found here: The Gateway Experience. If unfamiliar with this document, this is the result of another one of those government sanctioned experiments. The Why Files also did a video on this: The Gateway Process.
There are some of the tapes that can be found on YouTube, but it is important that they be in stereo and not a mono format. I've read through the full system documentation that accompanies the tapes, but have not spent a significant time on the tapes themselves. I would suggest that the first tape be given an opportunity as the results are a bit interesting, and does generate a feeling similar to deep meditation. I've even used the first tape when I feel a major migraine coming on and it has helped to minimize the effects of it, as I am prone to severe migraines from time to time. But no contact with aliens or supreme beings yet.
One interesting possible metamathematics hypothesis—if simulation theory is valid then mathematics merely represents the calculations underlying the simulation.
If anything existed outside the simulation it may have totally different mathematics, physics etc.
Thanks for the info.
Good post.
