Hamilton police responded to a robbery at a Bank of Montreal where a guy tried to rob the place after showing up on a bicycle.
...
Okay, first off, if you're planning a heist, maybe pick a getaway vehicle that can go faster than Lizzo. But this guy rolls up on two wheels, strolls in, and passes a note to the teller, motioning as if he had a weapon -- and the bank employees just weren't buying it, so he just ... left.
But his day gets worse.
When he gets outside and he discovers someone stole his bike!
...
No honor among thieves, huh?
...
He still somehow managed to get away from Canadian police, who are now on the lookout for two suspects: A failed bank robber who's probably still wandering the streets, and a bike thief.
...
The perfect Canadian mystery story!
All is not well in Fidelito’s Canada.
Better change course while you can, good neighbors to the north!
OK, show of hands, who immediately thought of “I have a gub”?
Me.
A theif steals from a theif. I love it.
CRIME ON CRIME CRIME!
Bike robbers are thick as thieves bank robber laments.
I read it as: “Comedian bank robber...”
…it was Francis!..
Trudeau quietly changed some language in gun laws saying ,Oh by the way you were not allowed to have that Gun in the first place ,LOL
Don't moose this one.
Perhaps they were operating in tandem.
Bank robber : Alan Duncan, a convicted murderer.. traveled to Chicago twice last year to rob banks, but he lost the money when someone stole his car with the cash inside.

That’s why I always wear roller skates to a bank robbery.
That KC Chiefs fan did all of his robberies with a bike... Easier to get away apparently. Cops are typically looking for a car... Not a bike.
Montreal. Canadas most diverse city.
Bank of Montreal branch in slightly less diverse Hamilton Ontario.
This is why I always lock my bike carefully before going into the bank for, well, any reason.
“There’s a lot of crooks in this town,” said the would-be robber to police on his way to jail. “You need to do more to keep people’s stuff safe.”
Sounds like something that might happen in Gainesville, FL where any bike that is unattended for 9 seconds disappears. People in Gainesville seem to think that it is their duty to steal any bicycle or part of a bicycle that is not indoors of totally secured. Bikes that are left chained to large trees with long chains or cables running through the frame and wheels lose their handlebars within minutes of the owners walking into away.

Did the note say “I have a gub”?
