When ‘non-dogmatic’ information becomes FREE & TRANSPARENT it becomes a threat to those who attempt to control the narrative and/or the stable.
When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.
You are not alone and you are not in the minority.

Now he won’t be heading the FDA but by showing how bad our food supply is and recommending good solutions he can show how many times there are non-pharmaceutical solutions that the individual can do without big med or big pharma intruding in their life with a so called pharmacy cure all.
The obesity problem in America is a perfect example. The solutions are out there but they require discipline and commitment which most people do not have. People want a quick fix, enter Ozempic and Wegovy. Then when the adverse effects hit them they are really in a bind, especially if the more serious complications are incurred.

Looking back I remember, when younger, someone always brought donuts or a cake to work to share. Then co-workers and I would go to a chain restaurant for lunch. By the end of lunch we had already consumed a days worth of calories. I had co-workers who would then stop at a fast food place on their way home to pick up dinner. Multiply that by 5 days in the work week and many of us had consumed double the necessary calories. Then comes the weekend going out with friends or family etc...
My family has the genetic predisposition of developing insulin dependent diabetes, so later in life, I have become more conscious of what I eat calories, carbs, salt intake etc. and was/am amazed at how much I ate when younger and what people eat now. And can understand how the obesity problem is going unchecked. When I go to the grocery store the snack aisle is always crowded with obese people using the mobile carts with their basket crammed with junk food.
Your plan of changing your eating is the best plan IMO for losing or controlling ones weight.
Now kids in school are taught that the founding fathers were evil white racist rich slave owners. In Trump’s first term, he appointed Larry Schweikart and iirc two or three other historians to write REAL history books for various levels of education. I can’t wait for this to happen!
