Yes, it was my very own cooking.

But, I think it was the eggs. It is very easy to get a less-than-fresh egg here. And, if there is no smell and the colors are within “normal” parameters, a mistake could be made. Most people here break eggs into separate bowls and then add to the main bowl. This way we catch an “old” egg before contaminating the entire batch. In the states, we usually break the eggs directly into the main bowl. And even though I used the separate bowl method, something slipped through.
