Did they get strep or RSV testing?

Those are my symptoms as well.

I figure I have a bacterial infection so since I have some Doxy I am taking it.

It hurts so bad to swallow I don’t even want to drink anything

One of my nieces DID end up with RSV...she ended up in the hospital. It was a blessing in disguise because it had caused her to have a mild heart attack.

She ended up having three stents put in... she is still coughing but doing much better.

The others were tested I believe for strep but didn't have it.

I would strongly suggest you be tested for Strep and or RSV as in my niece's case it can cause other problems.
