Yep, heard some lawyers talking about that today. They said the whole case is in peril.
Maybe Bragg is overcharging on purpose, so it can look as though he’s fighting crime, when in fact, he may have agreed to let this rich client walk away.

Piling on charges often means doubt about the prosecutable odds on the case, so you get them on something.
Although, with all the known evidence and all the additional evidence that we don’t know about, I don’t know why there would be doubt about this.
Money and Power are the gods of the Democrats. For enough money, one can get out of anything as far as the Democrats are concerned. The three on Death Row that Biden did not pardon did not offer enough money or he would have pardoned them also.

The trial would have to be about facts, which is in short supply in NY courtrooms. The man will have 3 some conjugal visits.
There were a few dozen young women waiting outside the courthouse trying to get seats, some were crying, all were there to support Mangione (a gay murderer).
There was a time when a woman's father was in charge of finding a husband for his daughter. Perhaps we should return to this custom. Left to their own devices, women are clearly incapable of pairing up with suitable mates.
The murder by Mangione was on video, with apparently lots of corroborating evidence. He should be convicted by the end of January at the latest. Want a bet the trial won't even begin by the summer?
