'lessons of this nature may cause students to feel any number of emotions,' I wonder what they teach in art class.
Heaven forbid that our children feel emotions.

We should have picked our own damned cotton.

Brought to us by the same people that believe the word “niggardly” is racist slur.

I wonder what the leftists are going to be left wearing?
Cotton = bad because (allegedly) of slavery.
Oil = bad means no synthetic clothing or manufacturing of it. Maybe they can wear wool homespun.

When I moved to NC in â82 I saw a cotton field and went to pick a cotton boll to see what it looked like.
I did the same thing with a tobacco leaf.

I’ve picked cotton and I’ve handed tobacco. The latter is the harder work.

Wait until someone passes around a cigar in front of the descendants of all the krauts, pollocks, and Irish who had to pick tobacco in the river valley of Connecticut.
There will be riots in the streets.

I did a top grade research project booklet about cotton when I was in elementary
school. I still remember how great it was to have successfully managed to locate and request a real, untouched cotton puffy beige cotton bunch right from the plant on which it had grown. Never did the teacher or any student dream of being âoffendedâ by a school science report. I pity todayâs teachers and students; they are programmed to be intellectual idiots and fools.

Good churches should have a line item in their budgets for subsidizing families who are home schooling. Or to subsidize tuition for families sending kids to parochial schools.
