BobL: "Tell that to SERBIA.
But we’re cool, you already support the concept.
Have a nice day."

Do you represent Serbia here?
Then I'm telling you -- nobody "tore up" anything in Kosovo.

Your beloved Serbs went berserkly genocidal and had to be separated from killing non-Serbian Kosovars.
Nothing remotely resembling that happened in any country invaded by Russia, ever.

Sure, I "get" it -- like any Russian propagandist, you wish to twist my words around to make they support your beloved Vlad the Invader, but it's not what I said or meant.

Twist away, FRiend.

"Greenlanders rather than Danes may be the deciding party."

I seriously doubt if anything will come of this beyond a few good laughs.

On the other hand, I'm certain that Pres. Trump is thinking very strategically, and such thinking may well help in our rivalry with the New Russian Empire.

So let’s see. The ONLY world body that can change borders legally is the UN Security Council. Funny, I cannot find the approved resolution calling for Serbia to be severed, can you? Didn’t think so. So no different in Ukraine - Russia is severing Ukraine illegally, just as the Neocons PREVIOUSLY severed Serbia.

So, we’re good, as TWO can play at that game, as the Neocons are learning, THE HARD WAY.

BobL: "So let’s see."

No, the only thing you can see is Russian propaganda.

BobL: "The ONLY world body that can change borders legally is the UN Security Council."

Only in your own fantasy universe, not in the real world.

The following is a very partial listing of countries whose borders and/or independence has changed since 1945, all without UN approval:

  1. Philippines declared independence from the US 1946
  2. Syria declared independence from France 1946
  3. India declared independence from the UK 1947
  4. Israel declared independence from the UK 1948
  5. China seized Tibet 1950
  6. Vietnam declared independence from France 1954
  7. Congo declared independence from Belgium 1960
  8. India seized Goa in 1961
  9. Israel captured the Golan Heights from Syria 1967
  10. Equitorial Guinea declared independence from Spain 1968
  11. Bangladesh declared independence from Pakistan 1971
  12. Morocco seized large parts of Western Sahara 1975
  13. Mozambique declared independence from Portugal 1975
  14. Angola declared independence from Portugal 1975
  15. Egypt & Israel border dispute resolved in 1982
  16. Germany reunited in 1990
  17. Yugoslavia disunited in 1991
  18. The USSR dissolved in 1991
  19. Eritrea declared independence from Ethiopia in 1993
  20. China took over Hong Kong from the UK 1997
  21. China & Vietnam border dispute resolved in 1999
  22. Eritrea and Djibouti border dispute resolved in 2008
  23. Norway & Russia border dispute resolved in 2010
  24. South Sedan declared independence from Sudan in 2011
  25. The UK declared independence from the EU in 2020
BobL: "Funny, I cannot find the approved resolution calling for Serbia to be severed, can you?"

Nor was that done in any of those other cases.

BobL: "So no different in Ukraine - Russia is severing Ukraine illegally, just as the Neocons PREVIOUSLY severed Serbia."

But, in reality, there was nothing illegal in the actions of Kosovars, and nothing legal in those of Vlad the Invader in Ukraine, or elsewhere, except in the minds of devoted Russian propagandists.

BobL: "So, we’re good, as TWO can play at that game, as the Neocons are learning, THE HARD WAY."

One difference, among many, is that, objectively, while Kosovars acted in service of good against pure evil Serbian genocide (which killed and raped tens of thousands in Kosovo) Vlad the Invader has acted in service of pure evil genocide (killing hundreds of thousands) against Ukrainians and many others.

That can only work as a "moral equivalent" inside the brains of devoted Russian propagandists.

Thanks, so we’re STILL on the same page: When a country feels it’s in their interest to move borders, then borders get moved. PLENTY of examples cited by you.

If and only if the defenders are defeated or otherwise subjugated.

So far, that has not happened in Ukraine.
Nor is it likely to, ever.

EXACTLY how the Russians felt in Ukraine, so we continue to think the same.

Thanks again!

No, we think the opposite -- I support Ukraine's defenders, you support Vlad the Invader.

We’re TOTALLY in synch. You list showed that the UN means NOTHING regarding the keeping of borders...so you’ve given Russia free run to change its borders.

Thanks again!

I have never given Russia "free run" to do anything.

Imho, Russians are so dangerous and untrustworthy, they should be required to ask permission to take a cr*p, and permission should only be granted when they are escorted to and from the bathroom.

So, it's not about the UN.
It is about Russians and your long history of insane leaders -- Ivan the Terrible, Peter the Great, Stalin the Oppressor, Vlad the Invader... with you Russians, crazy just never stops, does it?

“Imho”

Good, we’ve settled on a difference of opinion as to who the bad guys are (Russia/Putin in your opinion, Biden/Nuland in my opinion).

Sounds good to me.

"...a difference of opinion as to who the bad guys are -- Russia/Putin in your opinion, Biden/Nuland in my opinion"

But no opinions are required, only facts:

  1. "Biden/Nuland" did not invade Russia, ever.
  2. "Biden/Nuland" did not kill any Russians in Russia.
  3. "Biden/Nuland" did not annex any Russian territory.
  4. "Biden/Nuland" did not threaten Russia with nukes.
  5. "Biden/Nuland" did not subvert Russian elections.
  6. "Biden/Nuland" did not ally with Iran, NoKo & China to start Cold War II.
By stark contrast:
  1. "Russia/Putin" did invade its neighbors, including Ukraine.
  2. "Russia/Putin" did kill hundreds of thousands in several countries, including Chechnya, Georgia, Syria, CAR, Mali, Sudan, Libya, Mozambique & Ukraine.
  3. "Russia/Putin" did annex territories from other countries, notably Ukraine, but effectively Moldova, Georgia and even Belarus.
  4. "Russia/Putin" did threaten the West with nukes, many times.
  5. "Russia/Putin" did subvert many elections, especially in Ukraine, but also recently in Georgia, Moldova, Romania, Poland, Germany and France.
  6. "Russia/Putin" did ally with Iran, NoKo & China to launch Cold War II.
Facts, not opinions.

Why didn’t also mention the United States, at least in 2016?

BobL: "Why didn’t also mention the United States, at least in 2016?"

I don't think our own Democrats need help from Russians to steal elections -- they're good at that, have been for many years, as evidenced by 2020.
So, what happened in 2016 and 2024?
"Too big to rig" overcame the Democrats' vote stealing talents, at least temporarily.

Regardless, I'm pretty sure Democrats will concoct new tricks to steal future elections, with or without help from Russians.

And, it's worth noting that Vladimir Putin never publicly endorsed candidate Donald Trump, and in 2024 did publicly support Kamala Harris.
In December 2015, Putin's comments about Trump were misquoted, and should have read --

Trump, of course, was happy to have Putin's kind words, and you can decide if that constitutes "election interference".

That’s a roundabout answer, so I’ll ask again, do you think the Russians were responsible for Trump winning in 2016? If you say yes, that’s fine, half of the country is still with you on that.

One minute he wants to annex Canada the next minute he wants to buy Greenland?

Whoa there, Big Hoss. Don’t we have some other important business to attend to first?
