Rex Heuermann, the Gilgo Beach murderer, has already taken credit for this.

Researchers and historians tend to say that these animals roamed all over the world, but their fossils have only been found in North America. Have they been looked for elsewhere?

I was amazed at the stacks of ivory tusks at some of the gold mining operations in Alaska.
Also, some carved mammoth tusks found from the melting of the glaciers. They were in perfect condition.

AOC: Those two horrible white protruding things sticking out from their mouths like that. What a way to go through life.

For years I’ve passed a sign on I-91 near Hartford,CT saying “Dinosaur State Park” as I was on the way to NYC. A year ago, having some time to kill,I stopped in. In a sheltered building they have the footprints of a creature (in petrified mud) that scientists say are 200 million years old. So about 90 minutes from NYC we had 200 million year old dinosaurs.

It’s not uncommon, after a thunderstorm or even fireworks, to find a stray mastodon in your backyard. So approach it with a ‘biccie’ or a bowl of elephant chow, so you can read the data on its ID tags.
