Bear are related to Pigs. So, unless you fail to cook the meat properly, I GUESS you could have some problems?

I’ve never heard of a parasite problem with bear meat. And I have eaten a LOT of bear meet through the years. Lots. I mean LOTS. I use it in any lean beef or pork loin recipe.

It’s very lean. There is no marbling of fat IN the meat itself; bear carry all of their FAT on top of their muscle (meat) as do I. :)

Maybe I’m a bear and I don’t know it? ;)

The only way bears and pigs are related is that they are both mammals.
