The bear climbed the tree to protect itself, not attack. Unless the bear is attack you or others, leave the bear alone.

Is it bear hunting season? It would be good to know was this a legitimate legal hunting activity.

Bears fearing man is one of the benefits of bear hunting.

Hound hunters often get their first look at a bear after it has been treed. That’s when they determine whether or not it’s a shooter.

You're obviously not a hunter, let alone a bear hunter.

You hunt them with dogs, the dogs tree them and you go in and shoot the treed bear........Simple as that and hope the bear didn't take its toll on the dogs before it hit the tree.....
