We all do................😪
Yeah me too
But especially the Rush from 1990-1993, top of his game then
It took a long time for me to stop my automatic turning on Rush every day at noon. A long time. I’d look and see 11:55 and think Oh good! Rush.... then remember. I miss him so much.
I miss Rush, too. The closest to him I’ve found is Michael Berry.
I admit I never listened to him.
Just not a radio listener then and cannot hear squat now.
Did read much of one of his books at least.
There were enough quotes floating around over the years that I had a decent grasp of his insight about things.
Know what you mean...
However, had he been around for the past 4 years, I fell sure that the communists would have permanently physically silenced him, one way or an another...
Rush, just like our President-Elect, was one of the most interesting people I have ever known of. Both seem to have uncommonly high levels of energy and determination.
Both are capable of deep insight about themselves and those around them. Knowledge mostly based on simple Human Nature.
Just think, after that bruising campaign, I don’t think Trump has even taken a full week off. Of course he deserves it, but I think it is his own choice to keep going and charting his next course. No one is making Donald Trump do any of this. Heck. I would need to take 3 or 4 years off, at an undisclosed location, just to settle my nerves after such a prolonged and eventful year.
Being a girl, I thought at times, Rush could be a blowhard. But I always liked listening to him. The 2 knuckleheads on his show now, are far from E.I.B. far.
They both sound alike. About a year ago they were so for DeSantis, that to this day, they choke a wee bit, when they mention PDJT.
I’d like to hear Bannon at that time slot. And for the record, not everybody is crazy for the Southern college football. Can you say: BIG 10?
It is amazing that we won this election without him. Or maybe we did win, because of the trees he planted.
Ditto.
Often I remember Rush’s wisdom. He saw the deep state years ago.
We miss you, Rush.
It’s the Free Republic custom to include the word “Vanity” in the title and as the source of threads of a personal or interpersonal nature.
Paul Harvey's assessment of Rush demonstrated his characteristic subtlety: "He's the best there is... at what he does."
Ah man, me too.
Man, I do to. I feel guilty enjoying all the winning and Rush is not around to enjoy it too.
Gosh, yes. Miss Rush! He was like an older brother to me.
While I could only listen to him occasionally when I was working. When i retired he was my daily lunch companion for ten years. I remember the day he announced his illness and the day his wife announced his death like they were yesterday….
He was truly a great man and can never be replaced….
Rush would be beaming. We owe so much to him.
