The article doesn’t say, just that they called ahead and didn’t need a reservation.
It seems to me that if you were calling for a reservation, the number of the party would have come up.
I think we need to learn more about it before we pass judgment.
I'll bet everything I own that they never said there were 17....and I suppose they came at the busiest time, too.
