Disney released the second trailer for its $300 million (at least) live-action Snow White remake on Tuesday and within hours, thousands upon thousands of commenters were shredding the two minute advert. Many among the 12,000-plus critics are pointing to Snow White actor Rachel Zegler’s post-election comments, in which she wished for those who voted for President Elect Donald Trump to “never know peace.”
“Rachel Zeglar – the people need some kindness,” one commenter said quoting the film, and then, adding “Also Rachel Zeglar – May over half of the U.S. never know peace.”
Of course, Zegler apologized for her “FUCK DONALD TRUMP” screed but not before she suggested that his supporters are part of a “deep, deep sickness in this country.”
Is it any wonder, then, why some commenters went so far as to wish for the Evil Queen (Gal Gadot) to triumph over Snow White?

Aside from that, I thought the trailer was decent. This is a children’s movie. They are the best critics because they know nothing about Rachel Zegler. This movie just might make some decent money for Disney.
The Seven Dwarves are CGI I believe. Maybe AI these days.

New starring role in Disney remake of Old Yeller.
Maybe Conservatives should revive Max Flesicher’s Studios—once Disney’s Rival, and make non-work pictures, the way they should be made. Cartoons with heart and feeling and without a hidden woke message. Originally Max wanted to do Gulliver’s Travels with Popeye—that might have been interesting. Betty Boop could be used with better sexy content—as she was originally. Disney needs a rival!
Why not make the queen the good guy and root for her!
Hollywood has reversed so many evil characters into misunderstood ones as in the Sleeping Beauty remake with Angela Jolie or 101 Dalmatians’ Cruella De Vile!

I saw a comment about the trailer from somewhere that stated: “Even if I were watching this movie on a plane, I’d still walk out!” I think I’d agree.
Snow White has black hair because the original story and some adaptations depict her with black hair:
Original story
The 1812 fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm describes Snow White as having "hair as black as ebony".
Disney's original film The 1937 Disney animated film depicts Snow White with black bobbed hair, brown eyes, and skin as white as snow.
Relatability
Some say that Disney changed Snow White's hair from blonde to black to make her more relatable.
Other adaptations
Snow White has appeared in many adaptations with different hair colors, including long black hair in the 1989 film Happily Ever After and blonde hair in the 2012 film Grimm's Snow White.
