Liberalism seems to have an irrational animus against Christianity. Consider these two stories highlighted in the last week by conservative Christian blogger Rod Dreher.
Item 1: In a widely discussed essay in Slate, author Brian Palmer writes about the prevalence of missionary doctors and nurses in Africa and their crucial role in treating those suffering from Ebola. Palmer tries to be fair-minded, but he nonetheless expresses "ambivalence," "suspicion," and "visceral discomfort" about the fact that these men and women are motivated to make "long-term commitments to address the health problems of poor Africans," to "risk their lives," and to accept poor compensation (and sometimes none at all) because of their Christian faith.

Contrary to common belief, that offhanded metaphor is not in the Constitution. The Constitution PROHIBITS THE STATE from establishing a STATE RELIGION.
The Constitution says the State shall NOT prohibit the free exercise of religion (U.S. Const., 1st Amend.).
Unconstitutional "separation between church and state" runs counter to the First Amendment and has been used to violate the constitutionally protected right to the free exercise of religion.
And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light; for their deeds were evil (John 3 19).

They know they are going to Hades, and the Christians are not.
Avoid at all costs as Hillsdale College has done and is one of the few academic centers that is free from resulting suffocating and nonsensical federal regulations
From one of the linked articles
When an infected American missionary was flown back to the United States for treatment, Donald Trump griped that do-gooders trying to save Africa should be prepared to âsuffer the consequences.â
Liberals “I don’t think anyone should tell me how to act!”
Any questions?
Mother, who was born Baptist, then Church of Christ and many decades a Catholic is a big time D with major TDS. Just the other day, she decided Christians don’t know anything and Islam is the truth. Yeah, that was a surprise but not a surprise.
Leftists see religion as a superstition. They are all very smart. Also they donât like rules. I always say liberalism doesnât require an argument. Conservative: donât have sex until you are married. There will be a lot of arguments against this position. Liberal: they are going to do it anyway, give them a condom. No argument will ensue. You can apply this to just about any issue. The conservative has a much harder time because they are always being argued with. Liberals donât like to argue so they say go ahead. They will make up all sorts of reasons to not object so that they seem like they have thought it through.
Unresolved Daddy issues. They hate anyone who tells them “No, you can’t do that, that’s wrong,” and God the Father is the ultimate Daddy. They look at Christianity and all they see is a list of “Thou Shalt Nots.”
They’re not liberals, they’re libertines.
- because, in their minds, THEY are god. And they want NO competition;
They canât serve 2 masters
“Itâs about control. Religion gets in the way.”
Bingo. Pure and simple. They have been brainwashed since the 60s into supporting and implementing communist goals. Started in Berkeley.
Disband religion.
Disband tribes, clans, and family.
Loyalty to ONLY the government.
And in our case here in the US destroy Nationalism and Patriotism to add us to a single party Communist global state. And the new state imposed global religion is environmentalism.
Big government/control is their god. They are Secular Humanists/communists.
American “progressives” despise Christianity because they want us to worship Obama and Harris...not some guy who was born in Bethlehem about 2000 years ago.
â I think a lot of them donât really know Christianity.â
All the leftists I know received all the sacraments
They not only know Christianity theyâre going to have to explain to God why they chose to turn away from it
Thatâs accountability for those who think accountability is dead. It is not
