And then total up the damages and charge the mother who let this evil child roam free on her destructive spree.

There’s obviously something wrong with this child. There’s anger, then there’s rage. She’s either autistic or has suffered terrible abuse. Is it possible she’s just a spoiled brat? Could be; but the woman who says, “You don’t know what she’s been through”, may know what she’s talking about. We have friends who foster. The things some children have been exposed to or had done to them can turn a child into a sociopath or worse, a psychopath. They’re fostering a preschooler right now, who has tried to smother and electrocute his little brother. There is a special place in hell for “parents” who abuse children.
Spoiled brat? Could a session over her parents’ knees and a hand applied to her rear have altered that behavior?

I bet she would have calmed down and stopped her behavior if she had been allowed to hear a strong “No” for the first time in her life.

Bingo. Both need spankings. Spare the rod, spoil the child. Make them both dine on nothing but what she destroyed. Kid needs to be juvie and mama needs to be in jail charged with everything that was thrown and stomped on. If Kamamla can put parents in jail for truant (cough, sick) children, then this deserved.
Let her express herself? In MY store, I will express MYSELF. I’d be on 911 and the parents better get their brat and themselves out before I count to 3. If she breaks the ornament then any drop of blood will be a charge of intentional and preplanning on the parents. Haven’t we learned enough from lawsuits against bakeries? Enough is enough.

Or she was begging to be told NO for once in her life. Some kids love pushing buttons.
I suspect the mother threatening “Wait till your father gets home” is not an option in this case.
