It was 73 fs this morning walking The Princess. I guess summer is back, although we’re not dealing with that “heat dome” I keep reading about.

I’m with you calling the “foul.”
The solution, though in fairly common use, is a slang term, nonetheless; not “proper” American English. It crossed my mind, but I had dismissed it on that basis.
Alas, Wordle, but perhaps we ought not entertain overly high expectations; it’s hosted by the New York Times, after all.

I, too, thought of the letter combination and decided to look for another word. Unfortunately, there are many that fit that still haven’t been winners.
I might just turn off hard mode so when I start to get into this trap I can eliminate more letters in one guess.

Good morning. Happy Monday.
All the big things that need to be removed from the house are gone. All we need to do is get the contract back from the Realtor and get the house listed. Hopefully we can get interior photos done before one of the siblings sends a moving truck for the bedroom suite.
I managed to get a 2 on yesterday’s Wordle. I should have saved it. Today - not so great.
