Chuck Woolery, the charismatic game show host who kicked off the long run of Wheel of Fortune before spending 11 years playing matchmaker on Love Connection, has died. He was 83.

    RIP....didn’t follow him much in his heyday but in later years was a surprising conservative. As in anyone from entertainment being conservative surprises me these days. Thanks Chuck!

    Chuck was a man of his time. The perfect host for a show like Love Connection. Fun, but always professional.
He kept the show family friendly, unlike the current host for Family Feud, who relies on slutty jokes most the time.
