By the fall of 1963, President John F. Kennedy and his political advisers were preparing for the next presidential campaign. Although he had not formally announced his candidacy, it was clear that President Kennedy was going to run and he seemed confident about his chances for re-election.
At the end of September, the president traveled west, speaking in nine different states in less than a week. The trip was meant to put a spotlight on natural resources and conservation efforts. But JFK also used it to sound out themes—such as education, national security, and world peace—for his run in 1964. The Assassination: Crowds of excited people lined the streets and waved to the Kennedys. The car turned off Main Street at Dealey Plaza around 12:30 p.m. As it was passing the Texas School Book Depository, gunfire suddenly reverberated in the plaza.
Bullets struck the president's neck and head and he slumped over toward Mrs. Kennedy. The governor was shot in his back.
The car sped off to Parkland Memorial Hospital just a few minutes away. But little could be done for the President. A Catholic priest was summoned to administer the last rites, and at 1:00 p.m. John F. Kennedy was pronounced dead. Though seriously wounded, Governor Connally would recover.

Yes. My mistake. It was indeed Oswald getting shot by Ruby. It was a photo at the instant Oswald was shot so the guards were caught off guard.
The policeman at Oswald’s right just died not too long ago.
I remember that day as a senior in High School. We were in Shop class when a student ran in saying Kennedy had been shot. We all then went into the shop area and turned on a car radio in the shop and heard the news.
1981. Reagan shot. ABC went bonkers over it. When it was mentioned that the handgun had been bought in Dallas, Frank Reynolds, the news reporter threw his hands in the air and yelled...”A-G-G-G-H! DALLAS!”
He could be out in charge and given full authority
I remember Trump said in his last term he would release all records but then didn’t .
That tells me that something nasty is there.
Yeah in one interview he said he had kept that hat.
Yes. And they are more diabolical than ever.
Never has the world been subjected to such evil as we are experiencing.
Ever?

Similar story. We heard the initial reports as we were returning to HS after lunch. No one in the school office believed us when we told them. Then they turned on the radio. A few minutes later the principal shared the news with the school and told everyone to go home
That one is pretty weird I’ll admit. And I like weird. Keep it coming.

Won’t help a thing since those who believe in a conspiracy will claim that RFK needs to release the ‘real records’ The ‘real records’ being the records that prove their favorite conspiracy.
In the 60’s, JFK, RFK, and Teddy were all in the formative stages of Leftist politics. The Kennedys were all about the gov’t (”ask what you can do for your country...”).
The debauched and ruinous Teddy Kennedy in the 80’s and 90’s is a good picture of where JFK was headed, morally and politically.
All this “Camelot” about JFK is a bunch of bone-headed nonsense - the Bleeding Heart “Liberal” (personified by the “peace and love” hippies) unmasked as today’s America-and Freedom-Hating Fascist Leftist.
Nineth grade English class when we got the news.
How many times did He say;
“I’m a Patsy” ?
“All this ‘Camelot’ about JFK is a bunch of bone-headed nonsense... “
I’ve heard that the whole Camelot shtick was invented by Jackie because she was obsessed with the Broadway play. It happened to fit in nicely with the optics of their attractive family and the Presidency, so she grabbed the name for her little fairy tale.

Big Government in and of itself, isn’t necessarily a Left or Right thing.
Plenty of “Right Wingers” also believe in big government.
It was more like “Came-a-lot”
The best book I have read on the Kennedy assassination is "Best Evidence. by Daniel S. Lifton. It focuses on The President's body, so obviously much of it involves Parkland.
See my tag line - in place before July 13th.....
It’s between deliberate and knowledgeable “Patriots” vs. gullible or willful “Traitors” IMO.
The Dems and many in the GOP are Lefties - traitors to our Free Constitutional Republic.
