I am not sure, but I don’t think that is a requirement. It is basically an administrative job.

I think I researched that once. To be a SCOTUS a person doesn’t have to be an attorney. (Go figure!) I think that is a requirement for AG, though. It’s been a long time, so I may not be remembering correctly.

“Juris Doctor degree from an accredited university.
“Valid license to practice law by the state bar.”
