Sadly sometimes parents do not want to admit their child is just plain crackers.

She should have been put down on the spot.

I’m serious about this. A lot of times I will mention something that a day or two later is cited on FR.

Yesterday I mentioned the death of Leon Trotsky by ice axe and explained what an ice axe was. This was in a thread about rival Dem factions blaming each other.

Today, here is an ice axe story. When was the last time you read about that term? As in never?

Weird.

Until they show “her” picture, I’d suspect “she” is a he.

“killed her father with an ice ax”

That’s cold.
And sad.

Anyone know the significance of keeping the lights off on election day?

[keeping the lights off on Election Day]

What, exactly, does this accomplish?

Does this keep the kids from trick-or-treating?

Or does it just make The Great Pumpkin appear?

I’m confused.

Lizzie Borden wannabe.

Sorry the father is dead. I can’t imagine what kind of life he had with this creature in the house.

"The defendant told Detectives that she knew that she could not convince him to keep the lights off, so she went upstairs retrieved an ice axe and tripped her father, strangled him with the axe and her hands and then bit him and hit him several times in the head and side with the blunt and sharp ends of the ice axe,” according to a case summary by the prosecutor’s office.

Corey Burke, who “appeared to be having a mental health crisis,”

Gee, ya think??????

The Lefties are spreading mental illness by hyping the election of Trump into the second coming of Adolf Hitler. It’s like a mass hysteria. More tragedies like this are sure to follow.

No mention of a post election freak out but it is implied. Maybe she wanted the lights to mourn Kamala’s defeat. Maybe dad represented Trump. Maybe its Seattle’s coffee.

Maybe she sympathizes with Canada…or is Canadian…
Canada turns off all lights in hopes US will think we’re not home
By Ian MacIntyre
The Beaverton
November 6, 2024

OTTAWA – With Americans voting today to determine the next President of the United States, every single Canadian has announced plans to keep their lights shut off in hopes that they will not get drawn into any mess that inevitably ensues.

With polls showing an incredibly tight race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, Canadians are hoping to stay unnoticed above the 49th parallel.

“We Canadians normally keep to ourselves on this continent,” explained Mary Kilmartin, of Burnaby. “But whenever one of their American election nights rolls around, we prefer to just draw the curtains, park the car in the garage, and hope that they keep any armed insurrections on their side of the border.”

From British Columbia to Newfoundland all Canadian porch lights, street lamps, and LED billboards have been shut off, in hopes that any rioting American voters assume that all 40.1 million Canadians “are away on vacation or something”.

Harvinder Sharma of Mirimachi adds, “When I go outside to clean up tomorrow morning I hope it was one of those ‘eggs and toilet paper’ kind of US election nights, as opposed to a ‘mobilize the national guard’ kind. You never know with neighbours like this.”

While the bitterly contested election is decided, a majority of Canadians have indicated plans to “stay inside and watch Love Island with the sound down low”, whereas others intend to “head out entirely and go get dinner someplace, like France.”

Brian MacMurray, who lives on the border at Windsor, ON, reported upon peeking through his venetian blinds: “Aw hell, I see a bunch of Americans roaming around the streets all dressed up in camouflage and flag costumes. I can’t tell if they’re looking to start trouble, or if that’s just how they normally dress.”

Should tonight’s election devolve into a full-blown civil war, Prime Minister Trudeau has announced further plans for Canadians to put a bowl of fun-sized Snickers out on the porch in hopes that Americans will just take them and go away.
