Did you come straight from GOPe central casting?

What other looney ideas do you have to strip America’s sovereignty and wealth?

Good idea, all we have to do is buy back the Mexican government from China...

...and large parts of our own!

A large percentage of illegals aren’t coming here to work. They’re here to get free stuff and sell drugs. I worked at a company that took a lunatic government deal. They had to hire off the welfare rolls. The workers either took the jobs or lost welfare. It was the most surly, dangerous and sabotaging work force I ever encountered. Drug use was rampant. These “sounds good” ideas never work.

Or we could get rid of tons of meritless regulations and feel good do nothing laws and let the American innovation and production engine do what it can still do.

There is existing tech out there than could *actually* secure our borders within a year or so.

If we were allowed to responsibly exploit our own natural resources, we could have manufacturing back in the US again.

hey, we could just ask the Mexican states adjoining the USA if they wish to join the Union...Also ask the Indian reservations straddling the border if they’d like to become states in the USA, including the areas currently in Mexico, heheh.

Maybe invite all of Baja California to join up.

Ignore the critics. I've had the same idea with regards to Central American countries like El Salvador, Honduras and Costa Rica (Nicaragua can pound sand). Encourage infrastructure development (better roads, power generation and ports, etc.), deport the illegal population, and use tax incentives to finance factories there that will undercut Chinese competition. We solve the illegals problem and the China problem, and cultivate friendly relations and strengthen our ties in the Americas while blocking out China.

To those who say this undermines American job creation, deporting millions of illegals will do more than enough to raise wages on jobs in the US. We don't need to be making cheap crap in the US at wages competitive with 3rd world countries. That's not the path to prosperity anyway. But let's buy that stuff from friends, not from enemies.

Swing and a miss, Uncle Sham!

I think your cosmic vision of a special geographic utopia for low wage, low skill, manual labor, and thousands of completely useless government bureaucrats, might have been posted at the wrong website?

You forget about the cartels, deeply entrenched with the corrupt Mexican government. In months anything along the border, on either side, will be used to launder money and the whole thing will fall apart.

Either that, or the cartels sabotage everything in order to maintain power, or possibly just take everything over with violence. The Mexican armed forces are worthless there when it comes to dealing with cartels. Do not count on them for protection, and if our forces take out cartel henchmen, the whole thing still falls apart, because the (again, entrenched within) Mexican government backs out due to perceiving it as a national security threat. With us being the threat.

Nah. Not gonna happen.

NOT UNTIL THERE IS ZERO UNEMPLOYMENT IN THE USA FOR A MINIMUM OF 12 CONSECUTIVE MONTHS.

REAL NUMBERS-—NOT BIDENOMICS NUMBERS

Better plan-
*cease all welfare to immigrant invaders
*Deport all immigrant invaders
*Secure the border
*Negotiate trade deals with Mexico
