If you were a fan of Super Size Me in the early 2000s, you may have mixed emotions on whether or not you can eat fast food and still be healthy. We pack food when we are on long road trips...it brings back memories of when we were kids traveling in a station wagon with 8 people..we would pull off At a scenic place and mom would make the best ham sandwiches......good times.

Lately I've been obsessed with my swiss cheese wrap that I make at home.

I buy Finlandia Swiss cheese sliced very thick and then wrap inside a slice of it a fried egg and two strips of bacon.

Even when cold, that is so delicious.

When hubby and I were first married, which was quite a long time ago, we would never eat out on the road. We couldn’t afford it.

We had a styrofoam cooler we’d put our comestibles and drink in.

But the lid didn’t fit quite right and the thing squeaked whenever our equally inexpensive car jounced.

Gosh, I haven’t thought of Squeaky in quite a while. That thing drove me nuts...

But, you know what, very good times! 😀

RE: But, you know what, very good times! 😀

Now that I lost my dear wife Joy (loved her from 1973-2022) I often think of really simple things that were actually big to us because of the love. Places that weren’t listed on someone’s luxury tour around the Mediterranean or something but a source of happiness.

It was the love.

I agree that sounds very good. I make something similar but have shortened the ingredients list to just BACON. It is delicious.
