I like the Gevalia French Roast.
When I see “responsibly sourced”, I move on. Not gonna support friggin’ tree huggers.

Ditto. My boss used to buy brewed coffee from a bagel shop for some staff meetings. When that hazelnut flavored crap flowed out of the container I gagged.
Blanchard’s Dark as Dark is great. I drink dark and grind the beans. I drink it black. Dark has less caffeine and less acid. The bitterness is called “sweetness” by experts.
Nothing better. You'll forget all about those fancy lattes.

I do, too. Only it’s more like 18 hours for me. That’s why I just ordered a large package of coffee candy with caffeine from Amazon. We’ll be taking a road trip soon, I don’t want to drink a lot (for obvious reasons), and that’ll be my caffeine fix. It works; have done it before.
My grandpa used to do that, and he’d put an eggshell in with the grounds. He said it cut the acid. Don’t know if it’s true. I was a kid then and didn’t drink coffee.

A couple years ago, they went all lib. They probably were lib before they outed themselves then, maybe by mistake. Portrayed themselves to be conservative because it’s a good client base.
You are correct. Just the plain columbian, or the Midtown blend. Guilty of huffing that silver pouch every morning when opening.

We were in port standing on the balcony of our ship’s cabin when I read on FR that he had announced he had cancer. I teared up for sure.
Then I was always fearful of the day when his show would start and it would be Kathryn’s voice I heard. That day happened. 😢
We’ve tried a bunch, and my .5 and I have agreed on Caribou Medium Roast as our top pick.
Just reading your post took me back and made me tear up again. I remember that day as well.
I get the big can from Costco. Smells terrific whenever I open it.
I drink only decaf.
A local roaster SWIFT RIVER has several DIFFERENT roasts and beans in decaf! Not flavoreds. That is like finding a green zebra.
I use vintage Pyrex glass percolators. Have 3 DIFFERENT sizes.
The taste is heavenly. I like coffee. Obviously I am not drinking it for a jolt.
Never had a pour over, at least not by that name. But it sounds good.

I’ve always drank black coffee with no sugar. I guess
it is what you grew up with or have a taste for.
