The Joe Rogan J.D. Vance interview
American Thinker ^ | 3 Nov, 2024 | Mike McDaniel

The difference in the few 15-20 minutes Kamala Harris has done with mostly friendly interviewers, and the 3+ hour interview Rogan did with Vance is stark and should be decisive for Americans.

The Joe Rogan interview of J.D. Vance lasted more than three hours. From the start, it was relaxed and comfortable, like two old friends telling stories and having a great time. Overall? Donald Trump made one of the best VP choices of all time. Vance is unquestionably intelligent, relaxed, funny, has a wide knowledge base, and is effortlessly sincere, unlike so many politicians. There was no question of his views on the issues, no concealment or flip flopping.

Donald Trump called J.D. Vance and jokingly told him he was going to have to chose someone else, then asked him to be his VP. During the conversation, Vance’s 7-year-old son asked who he was talking to. Trump heard and said “put him on the phone.” Trump read him the statement he would soon release choosing his father. After, Vance asked his son what he thought about talking with the former President. “Oh, that’s pretty good; that’s pretty good.” It was a very normal, American moment.

What kind of dictatorial narcissist asks to speak with someone’s 7-year-old son, and takes the time to tell him what he thinks of his father who he’s chosen to be Vice President of the United States? Vance thought it, and his son’s response—kids of that age are in a world of their own and singularly unimpressed with such things—was hilarious, and so did Rogan. These are real people, real Americans, people who work, pay taxes, and accomplish things.

Mark Cuban recently said Trump won’t surround himself with strong, intelligent women, directly implying Trump is weak, and conservative women are weak and stupid.

“Mark Cuban recently said Trump won’t surround himself with strong, intelligent women, directly implying Trump is weak, and conservative women are weak and stupid.”

Mark Cuban a little less recently probably went to a few Puff Daddy parties.

If there is such a thing as a political dork, Mark Cuban fits the bill.

Mark Cuban is a member of the Entertainment Establishment, and as such will toe the line with the left’s narrative.

Maybe Cuban meant "strong and intelligent" to be a euphemism for "fat and ugly". Trump does seem to like his attorneys to be strong, intelligent, gorgeous women. Hope Hicks comes to mind.

I like these living room conversations. We used to have these conversations with neighbors before the world was turned up side down. Now, no one seemingly has the time or patience to just visit and appreciate the value of communion that makes us human beings. As I was growing up, I remember Dad sitting around the kitchen table visiting with the neighbor, each with a cup of coffee and dessert, having long conversations about everything under the sun.

Joe Rovan, like it or not, has just become the major player in US political journalism. Say “bye, bye” 60 minutes.

I think the interviews he did with Trump and Vance sealed the deal with 18 to 35 year olds

I recall back in the 1960s mom was at home although she did work doing typing remotely. She would have one of the 4 or 5 ladies in the neighborhood over every couple of days for coffee. On the weekends a couple of famailies got together for homemade ice cream or watermelon during those long summer nights. They would stay for hours.

It’s the face to face communion and discourse today that’s missing. I blame the Internet and portable telephones for this dreadful lack of people to people contact. This is not the way people were meant to live. There is so much in communicating that gets lost when people don’t physically meet to exchange ideas.

60 Minutes is a deep state tool for creepy ‘state actor’ liars. Whatever credibility they once had was thrown away years go... it’s just taken time for the world to hear that truth. Bye bye 60 Minutes... your 15 minutes are up.

I’m convinced “The Mainstream Media” needs to drop out of our vocabulary. Maybe “The Boomer Media” - and I am a Boomer - or perhaps, “The Obsolete Media”.

I’m pretty sure Hope isn’t an attorney; just a bimbo.

Alina Habba, OTOH, IS an attorney, intelligent and strong.
