The government is vastly populated with Democrats who are ideologically and financially committed to protecting their sinecures and benefits. They are going to side with the hand that feeds them.

Agree to some degree regarding the government group. I think, however, that at many levels but particularly those in the roughly speaking white collar, middle management levels, as the unbelievable becomes more apparent a significant number will come to their senses. I believe it will be an even greater number with the various intel/law enforcement groups.

Re the military side, we may agree it is likely even more will come to the light when things get obvious. There are far more officers who will honor their oaths than will not and that percentage spikes the farther they are from D.C.

Government employees cherish job security and their exceedingly generous benefits above all else. I doubt they will do anything to offend their paymasters and put their cushy careers at risk. There is simply too much to lose. JMHO

A common characteristic amongst most government employees is their love of job security. It means everything to them. Very few of them voluntarily leave government for more demanding jobs.

To be sure, many of them serve honorably, but when push comes to shove they are not going to put their careers at risk by questioning orders from the powers that be.

Although we have somewhat different views on the matter I respect you opinion and appreciate the sincere feedback.
