PORTLAND, Ore. — An investigation is underway after an incendiary device was discovered inside a ballot box in Portland early Monday morning. On October 28, at approximately 3:30 a.m., officers were sent to reports of a fire at a ballot box located in the 1000 block of Southeast Morrison Street.
By the time officers arrived, security personnel in the area had already extinguished the fire. Investigators say an incendiary device had been placed inside the ballot box, igniting the fire. The Portland Police Bureau's Explosive Disposal Unit responded to the scene and successfully cleared the device.
The Portland Fire Investigations Unit also responded to the scene. This unit utilizes specialized training and equipment, including accelerant-detecting dogs, to investigate fires.
Ant Teefa back on the job?
Incendiary device causes a 🔥?......
Is this a republican area?
>>Is this a republican area?
In Portland, Oregon? I don’t think those exist.
In a reliably R district, right?
Southeast Portland, definitely NOT Republican. Another report just in: burning ballots pulled from a ballot box just across the Columbia River in Vancouver, WA.
So, an incendiary device expended itself and bomb disposal personnel successfully cleared the device. They get credit for doing nothing since the device was already expended and therefore inert.
On October 28, at approximately 3:30 a.m.,
One in SE Portland, one across the river in Vancouver, WA.
Just another reason my voting must be in-person, on election day, with valid ID.
where is this box located?

Very first line...
Ballot drop boxes are such a good idea.
That’s why we never used them until the enlightened era of 2020.

Wow, Oregon is tough. The only requirement is: Must have official signage.
An unguarded ballot drop box.
Drop boxes should be located where they would be under continuous observation, like inside a police station. But leftists would yell “voter intimidation “
Your local 7-11 has cameras and staff on hand.
And the ummm, “voters” have no problem going there...
These absolutely should be monitored, but they shouldn’t exist, at all.
Bring them to a county office or police station, something that always has “eyes.”
Early voting should be outlawed. Go in person on Election Day.
When I turned 21 (yes, I’m that old, couldn’t vote at 18), I was ecstatic to go to the town hall in my little New England town, and cast my vote. We had the old-fashioned voting machines, little toggle switches, then a handle to register our votes. We had the results the same night.
