Well, if OK's early voting crowds are anything to go by, I'd say that's a certainty. Yet, as huge as the crowds were when I went today, the line removed pretty quickly.
The whole occasion felt momentous. People in business suits, people in wheelchairs, heavily tattooed bikers, old ladies, young cowboy types -- you name it, they were there. The poll worker I spoke to said there were many people gathered outside more than an hour BEFORE the doors were opened. And, she said it's been that way all day long.
Personally, I'll be glad when this election is over, because then it will be clear to everyone whether it's time to (1) Celebrate in a big big big way, or (2) Prepare. One way or the other, the nonsense of being on tenterhooks for 4 frigging years has to end.
